Re: OOS- how long did the moving truck take ?

Where did you move to??? I know when my parents moved from NY to Maine, it was suppose to be 2 days but the driver got pulled over in NH bc he didn't log in his driving time. They held them for a day.

When my friend moved from NY to AZ it was a week. Because of the strict driving laws in regards to truck drivers, they have to sleep & log in their times...

Re: OOS- how long did the moving truck take ?

was your stuff the only one on the truck??? If not, it could be they got delayed at another stop. When you originally booked with the movers, did they give you a window of time??

I would say if it is not there by Saturday, call them & explain that it has been a week & demand answers....

I think it took about 8-9 days for my mother to get her stuff when she moved from NY to FL. Her stuff was the first pick up therefore the last drop off.

I would recommend them to anyone!
We could not use the truck since we did not have the ability for it to be parked at our old apartment. So we went with 3 cubes (only used 2) and everything arrive safe, one time, and cheaper than renting and driving a truck ourselves.

Yup! Same here.. They were awesome! I've never had a better experience. Our stuff got to our new house before we did and I was panicked about that but they held it for us at their secured station near my town until the date I had originally scheduled for the delivery.

We looked into renting a truck and doing it ourselves (hiring prof. movers would have cost us well over 15k with all the stuff we had plus the distance) but it would have cost more after you figure out the tolls, gas, overnight stay at a hotel, etc.

We were the first pick up, so now we are the last drop off, we will recieve it tomorrow.

We used Allied, and dhs job paid for it, which is the only reason we didnt decide on moving it ourselves.
