Opening/closing bank accounts... affects credit?
Does opening or closing bank accounts affect your credit like opening new cc's or canceling them?
Like if we wanted to open a new savings account or checking (no overdraft/line of credit though).

Closing bank accounts... no.
Opening bank accounts... maybe. You have to ask if they do a hard pull on your credit. While most banks pull a Chexsystems report, some banks actually pull your credit report. They pull a credit report similar to the pull they do when you open a checking account.
