I keep it forever. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I seriously do. Like two, three weeks I'm talking. Ragu, prego, Newman's Own, whatever. I've used it too after three weeks and I was fine. So was DH. So was everyone else I fed it to.

I think in reality, not in Jenn's dirty world, you should only keep it a couple of days - three maybe? Apparently you can get salmonella poisoning.

I keep it around for quite a while, too, and we're all still alive over here!

I typically keep it and use it for quite awhile too (until it grows something Chat Icon ) but I wanted to give it DD and I was afraid. Its such a waste of jar since she uses so little in each meal.

In this house we keep it in the fridge for a while as well. Not to the point that it grows something, but longer than a week.

Maybe you could dedicate an ice tray for freezing sauce. This way when you want your daughter to have sauce all you need to do is grab a frozen cube or two Chat Icon.

like 2days Chat Icon once my brother and his friend got really sick after eating sauce that had been in the fridge for a few days, so I am VERY cautious about that!
