Opinions on area rug for living room UPDATE WITH PICS OF RUG
I think I finally found one - let me know what you think!
 
Here's the LR with rug. Skew, I moved the accent table to the empty corner but now I might need something else in between the chairs. There's not much I can do w/ the layout of the room b/c the LR is right to the left when you walk in our front door. Also, moulding has been added (needs to be painted). Also, of course the coffee table needs to be replaced (that's my old Target one from our coop).
The passage on this wall is to the kitchen

rugs looks really nice and i like the table in the corner. i would add either a floor lamp behind the table or a large plant (tree). you need some height. in re: to a table btwn the chairs, yeah you need something but scale is an issue. let me look around.
also, i really like the window panels but leave them open. if you want more privacy, add sheers underneath or bamboo shades.

I def. plan to get a smaller table for between the chairs, and probably a plan or table lamp on the pedestal table in the corner.
The window panels were just closed b/c it was night (the LR is the front of the house and DH hates peepers from the road - even if we had sheers, he'd still close them every night).
