Opinions on my announcement photo
I am thinking of using this one...
What do you think? Also, can I save it on to my harddrive now that I've cropped it and made it black & white? How do I do that? I used shutterfly to make it the way I want it but I am getting my annoucements thru tiny prints.

I think he's adorable but the photo is blurry. Could you put a white towel over his car seat & try taking pictures of him in it outside?
Do you want me to do a layout for you & then you can print them yourself or go to Costco/Winkflash/Shutterfly?
I hate when when people spend more money than they have to.

You're right - it's blurry b/c I cropped it. We're getting very frustrated with getting the perfect pic so I cropped something mediocre. I will post a few more for opinions - thank you!

I think the pic is blurry too...and it will only get worse if you are trying to make edits on shutterfly and print them elsewhere. If the pic is not originally blurry but it just looks that way on here, then it is a very cute pic. But your best bet is to do the cropping & B&W on your own computer, not through an on line service. Can you send the pic to someone to do it and email it back to you? I could do it for you if you need it done and don't know someone else who can do it. FM me if you need help.

ETA: OMG! I had the same pjs for my kids, size 0-3. Mine were white and yellow so all 3 of my kids used them. Im so sad...they were so little then.

I like a color picture better for announcements. I think that people like to see the color of the hair & eyes and the complexion. I think both those photos are cute though! But as other people said they look a little blurry.

I agree - it's too blurry for print.
The 2nd one you posted is adorable - not boring at all! I would do a B/W on that one. If you don't have photo editing software to do a nice conversion let me know and I can do it in PS for you.

I would take more pictures. Maybe one of his feet or hands. Try not to use the flash and hold steady for non-blurry pics.

Either do the pictures outside or inside next to a window when its sunny out!

How do I do this? I'm an amateur. We bought the Canon Rebel SLR before Ryan was born and I have no clue what to do with it!
