Opinions on these OB/GYN in islip area:
Any feedback on:
Dr. Michele Polidoro in Islip
or Ketcham, Sampino, Sqicciarini, & Vullo in West Islip.
I am moving and need a new doctor affiliated with Good Sam - next summer I will be TTC - thanks!

I don't know anything about the other doctors but I went to Polidoro about 2 years ago because I had a problem and she sent me home and said I will be fine to just soak. Well turns out I went to another doctor the next day and I had to have emergency surgery because I had a cyst that absessed. I will never go to her again. She didn't know what she was doing in my opinion.

After a search on LIF, I found several postings on this practice. I went to them, the office was very nice, everyone was friendly. I saw Dr. Ketcham, he was very nice. Ive only been once, though.

I used Dr. Egre/Dr. Klein. They are in West Islip and are affiliated with Good Sam. They delivered both my girls and I thought they were great. I highly recommend them.

I use them also!! I love the fact that they are literally across the street from Good Sam and can get there in about 2 minutes notice!

I use Dr. Rosenman and Wanerman.. They both deliver in Good Sam and are right accross the street in the 1111 building FM me if you want the #

I used them also. They delivered DS and were great. They also have an office in Commack.

I use Dr. Leo in Deer Park... LOVE HIM!!
He is the sweetest man and his daughter is now with him and she is a doll also.
I didn't like Polidoro at all and my friend (who worked for Tesauro for years) doesn't like the KSSV office.

I don't know the 1st doc you mentioned however I go to Dr Sampino's group, they acutually delivered my children. I see Dr Ketchum and Dr Vullo mostly and I have to say I love them. My cousin and my sister also have switched to them and they feel the same way. Good Luck

i am 7 months pregnant and using sampino, vullo, squiccirini, and ketcham. i really like them and the people who work in the office. i would and have recommended them.

I use Dr. Sampino and love him! I just like to stick to 1 doctor, but I have seen Ketcham and Vullo (when I was pregnant) and love them too. The ladies in the office or so nice too!

I use Dr. Vullo. I have been with them for 9 years. Dr. Vullo was name physician of the year at Good Sam, whom they are affiliated with. They are cutting edge. Love them.

I second Dr. Leo (well, cuz hes is my FIL!) but also because he is the head of the medical dept at good sam (ALL Drs answer to him) so you may get some good treatment there just being that he's your Dr. Also, my family used him for years before I even knew/married his son and absolutely loved him!!

I go to Dr. Sarah Schwartz in West Islip, my sister and best friend also go to her...
If you prefer a male her father (also Dr. Schwartz) is also great.

I use Dr. Polidoro/Egner & think they are wonderful. I had no problems at all during my entire pregnancy; got appts whenever I needed them; felt I could ask any q's; the staff was super nice; they returned calls the same day and were very attentive. HOWEVER Kelly, I don't believe they deliver anymore at
good sam. They told me they would, but 99% of their deliveries are at Southside, which I ABSOLUTELY LOVED. fm me w/ any q's.
PS--I'm curious as to why the girls that didn't like them don't.
