opinions please! - should I paint the baby's room?
we just bought our house about a year and 1/2 ago and all the rooms were freshly painted.
I chose yellow for the "nursery" knowing we would be TTC soon.
Now that we know we are having a boy, DH wants to repaint, but I think the room is fine as is. It's a light buttercream yellow.
This is our bedding. He thinks the colors are too soft and will be washed out in a yellow room
would you repaint? And if so, what color?

I think it's adorable. And I hate painting, so I am all for leaving it be! My room has a turquiose stripe- if we were having a girl I still wouldn't have repainted!
I think you can jazz up the blue with accesories and stuff- like baskets, an area rug, toys- lots of stuff brings in color.

The link doesn't work. If the yellow is anything like the yellows in the border than I think it's fine.

I agree. I think it's fine and will look great with some added accents bringing out other colors.

I think yellow would look great with that. I say leave it.

I think it's perfect as is! I personally love buttery yellow. My master bedroom and kitchen are this color. I think it's so cheerful!

I don't see the need. Our walls are the same color as the border and it looks fine. It's a little difficult to tell in this pic, but you get the idea.

I would leave it, you can use accent pieces to make it more personalized but dont sweat it.. butercream seems perfect, nutral...good base for when your son gets bigger and you paint if for his "big boy" room... lol

ITA! I am all about avoiding manual effort (painting included) whenever possible.
Leave it as is and throw color accents where ever possible (wall hangings, stuffed animals, pillows, etc).

I agree - I think the yellow is fine. Why make more work for yourself if you don't have to?
The bedding is adorable!
