OPK help please! I need a crash course!

I bought a 7 pack of CBE OPK sticks for this month. Problem is, I have no idea how to use them. I'm assuming I have to pee on them, but when? Starting on what day? In the mornings? I'm on CD 5 right now - AF is *FINALLY* Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon on her way out.

What do I do with these magic sticks?

How long are your cycles?

In the instructions, it should tell you when to start with the OPKs based on your average cycle length.

You'll need to hold your urine for 4 hours, then test between 2 and 8 pm. You want to test around the same time every afternoon/night.

With the CBE digitals, you want to take the pink cap off, then line up the two arrows on the test stick and holder so that they are facing each other. Once the stick is in the holder wait for the stick symbol to show that it's ready, then you pee on it for about 5 seconds. Try not to get it TOO wet or it won't work. Then in about 20 seconds, the stick symbol should start flashing - that means it's working. In about 3 minutes, you should have your reading!

Thank you for the response! My cycles are usually 27-29 days. I didn't get the digitals, I got the ones with the 2 lines. I figured I'd start out simple. Chat Icon

I suppose I could have read the directions, but you girls are much more fun to talk to than a piece of paper. (I'm actually nervous to open the box for some odd reason Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon )

Oh, sorry! I've never used the ones with the lines, so I can't really help you there! Chat Icon

I gotta warn you- the ones with the lines have been known to drive people crazy!Chat Icon

I have a 26 day cycle- I start testing on CD10- and I get a Chat Icon on CD11 for a CD12 O date. So, maybe you'd want to start on CD11 since your cycle is at least a day longer than mine.

Good luck!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
