OPK question

I've read here that you shouldnt use your FMU to test, but on the box of the test, it says you can. Also, that is really the only time during the day where I can hold it for 4 hours (like it says to do on the box).
What are the reasons for not testing with FMU?

Thanks

Re: OPK question

I think it has something to do with when your body surges the LH hormone.

I think a surge is more likely to occur mid day.

if you don't drink alot of water, you could try holding it for 2 hours instead of 4. i still detect my surge that way? they say LH surges during the day so if you don't test later you may miss it?

Hmm..so is it never detected on FMU? Bc on the box, it says its ok to test at that time.

From what I read if you use FMU you might get a false positive b/c LH occurs normally.
