OPK question
I *think* I'm going to O tomorrow (I used the OPK and got a dark line today). DH and I BD'd yesterday and I tested on the OPK today. IF I was pregnant, would I still have a line on the OPK?
ETA: also, when's the earliest I can take a pregnancy test? Do I need to wait until AF is due? Or can I take one now?

Re: OPK question
there is no physical way on earth you are pregnant now. i'm sorry...
implantation does not occur until at least 6-10 days AFTER o.
some people get multiple days as positive on their OPK...

Thank you! I didnt think I was, but I just wanted to be sure. I'm still soooo confused about this whole thing. I really dont know by body yet and I definately dont know the ins and outs of TTC. Okay, so basically, if I BD tonight and tomrorow, and then one day after O, it'll still take about a week to be pregnant? And then how early do I test?

No worries - i would HIGHLY recommend NOT testing until AF is due. You can test up to 5 days prior to its' arrival - but the main problem with that is the chance for a 'chemical pregnancy' is higher. Also - the earlier you test - the earlier you tend to feel let down with the big fat negative (BFN).

Re: OPK question
I wouldn't test before AF is due, which is likely 2 weeks after you ovulate.
If you got a + today, you'll probably ovulate tomorrow or the following day.
With FRER (First Response Early Result) pregnancy test, you can test 4 days before your period is due... but if you read the fine print, it's only about 60% accurate at that time. The 99.9% accuracy that they talk about on the commercials is only for the day that AF is due.
Best of luck!
