OPK question
When using an OPK, other than the smiley, do you think that you aren't ovulating more than you are ovulating? In my experience and from some of the posts I have read, it seems that we don't get the reading that we are ovulating, but I have read that it is a rare occasion for a woman to not ovulate. Is it just me? And my next OPK (should I need it) will be the smiley

Re: OPK question
I'm not sure I understand your question.
Getting a +OPK means that your body is having a surge in LH - which typically indicates that you will O within 24-36 hours.
There are rare cases where you can have a surge, and then your ovulation can be delayed or not happen at all... but again, that's rare.

this is right on. Getting the positive OPK is NOT a sign of ovulation, just your LH surge which is saying that ovulation is going to happen 24-36 hours. THe LH surge typically lasts a very short time.
