OPK/Surge Question
Do you ovulate right after you finishing surging? Or is it possible your surge can be over, but you still haven't O'd yet?

Re: OPK/Surge Question
It is possible. The OPK's will detect a certain amt of LH(the hormone this test picks up) I am not sure what that amount it. If you just BD any day you see EWCM and the day you get your surge, the next day and the next day you will be good. GL

Re: OPK/Surge Question
Thanks!
We couldn't BD the day I got my surge, but we BD'd the day after. But I had taken an OPK that day but didnt have a surge anymore....so I wasnt sure if that meant I had ovulated yet (although my EWCM had started to dry up).

Re: OPK/Surge Question
In TCOYF she says that most women are dry by the time they O. Your peak fertility day is the day of the most abundant fluid which for me is usually 2 days before I o. You may want to try pre-seed(the external lube, not the applicator) if you are dry on your O day. It can only help. GL!

Thanks! Btw - why not the applicator? Aren't they essentially the same thing?

Re: OPK/Surge Question
No actually wre found the applicator one has a different consistency and did not feel like lube. The external one feels like lube and is more comfortable. Don't worry it will end up inside anyway

Interesting! We used the applicator one this time. Even if it feels different - it should work the same, right?

Re: OPK/Surge Question
Yes! Don't worry about that just a matter of preference. I also felt like it kinda disturbed the mood. Hold on I have to go to the bathroom...
