Oprah Winfrey to Launch Cable Network
There's no stopping media mogul Oprah Winfrey.
The talk show queen will launch her own cable channel, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, in association with Discovery Networks, Access Hollywood reports.
OWN will premiere in 2009, replacing the Discovering Health Channel.
Winfrey will have full editorial control but will share ownership 50/50 with Discovery.

The only nice thing I can say about this is that we're invested in Discovery Networks so hopefully we made a little money on this announcement.
