Ours is always private but I think it tells you on the website. Found it:
To enable Caller ID Blocking (*67), dial *67 on your Optimum Voice phone before dialing the number you’re calling. You should hear a stutter tone that indicates that Caller ID Blocking is active. After you hear the stutter tone, proceed in dialing the number of the party you are calling. Since Caller ID Blocking (*67) works on a per call basis, you must repeat these steps anytime you wish to block your name and telephone number.
