Oscar Menu

I always like to do something special the night we watch the Oscars. I usually do finger foods/appetizers because that is my favorite. However, we did that for the superbowl and we will actually be going to a cocktail party the day before the Oscars well I know there will be only finger foods/appetizers. So now I was thinking I would like to do a special meal instead. What main dishes would be good for the Oscars? Any special ideas?

Maybe do dishes inspired by some of the nominated films, or their settings? For example, Hawaiian chicken (The Descendants), fondue (Midnight in Paris), something Southern (The Help).
