Our Camping trip to the White Mountains... picture overload :-)

We went on our first family vacation in 3 and a half years, to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We camped at Lost River Family Campground, which was great! We went with family friends, so there were 5 kids under the age of 10 (ages were 10 months, 2 years, 4 years, 5 years and 10 years) and 4 adults... What a blast!!

We stayed four nights. The first full day, we went to Franconia Notch State Park and hiked the Flume Gorge... I have no words for this incredible natural wonder. Google it, because my pics don't do it justice. The second day we went spelunking (exploring boulder caves) at Lost River Reservation, which was a blast (even though we discovered my 5 year old DD is extremely claustrophobic) and explored a few cool little towns. The last day, our friends left, and we went back to Franconia and hiked the part of the Appalachian Trail that went through the park. It was almost 7 miles, and the kids loved it!!!

Overall, a phenomenal family vacation, and I hope you all enjoy the pics

I spent most of my summer vacations in NH. Been going up since I was 2. We have family in Concord and spent a lot of time in the area you stayed at. We are going up again next week. It will be our 4th trip since October 2010.. We stay in Lincoln and hit the family friendly stuff. DS is only 19 months old right now.. I love it up there and I can't wait until DS is older to do the big stuff! Glad you had a great time!!!
