Re: Our Christmas Tree fell over...

Oh no!! I am sooo sorry! I have that fear with my tree too. We have hardwood floors and I am so afraid of it falling over and breaking some important ornaments.
Can you repair them? Glue maybe?

Ugh I am so sorry!

This happened at my best friends house while they were celebrating christmas on christmas eve. And it happened to my mom the year my "stepdad" passed away breaking one of his ornaments..which was soooo awful. She tethers hers to the wall now somehow. "Tis the season"

Re: Our Christmas Tree fell over...

My tree almost fell over too. DD and I had about 30 ornaments on them and it started to tilt. We took all the ornaments off, fixed it and tried again. It was still tilted, but we decorated it anyway. Dh and I fixed it for good later that night. It did make me want to get a fake one, but I don't know if I ever will!

So sorry you lost so many important ornaments Chat Icon

Re: Our Christmas Tree fell over...

My in-laws tie their tree too, b/c they always get a giant one, and it has fallen in the past.

I had a tree fall almost directly on me once, but DH & a few of his freinds caught it in time.

I'm sorry you lost so many important things.

I was watering it and it came loose for the stupid $100 stand we boughtChat Icon Chat Icon

I started screaming and scared the heck out of poor Andrew. He started crying, I started crying. It was a big mess.
