Our day at Adventureland (lots of pictures)
Jared had the BEST time. Grandma and Grandpa wanted to take us there for the day. At first he was a little scared riding on the rides by himself but he soon got over that fear. We had a great day!

I want to take my son there this summer for the day but I'm not sure if there are any rides he can go on. He is 1. We went to the St. Anthony Feast yesterday in Long Island and the rides had height limits. Not that there was much for him to go on...besides the carousel.
Did the rides have height limits at Adventureland?

eta...and are there little kiddie rides you can go on with them? I am scared to let him go on by himself cuz if he gets scared he will try to get up and get out...

For most of the kiddie rides, you can go on with him...but some of them like the cars or the little worm ride, he needs to go by himself.
I was afraid that Jared would get up too. We brought him on rides together to get him used to them and then we tried one by himself. He didn't want any part of it. Then we went on the flying helicopters and he loved it because he was in the front seat by himself and my father sat in the back. From then on, he went on all the rides without a problem. I think that one might be a bit too young. He'll have more fun at 2 years old.

Yeah I guess...He's been on some carousels and loves it. He looks around in awe. He has a serious look on his face but that's his "i'm in awe" face. Then he goes "ooooohh"
