Our little girl made her grand entrance!
I don't post too often, but have been quite an active lurker during my pregnancy and have found all the ladies here to be such a great source of support and information!!
So, I thought I'd post that our little girl arrived yesterday and we couldn't be more in love!
Arabella Rose
born August 6th at 4:32am
6lbs 15 oz, 20 inches
She was born at home in our bed, without any drugs, after a 50 hour labor (36 of that being active labor). It was rough, for sure, but so worth it! We couldn't be more in love!
So anyone considering a drug free birth - feel free to FM me!

Congratulations to you and your family!!!! I would be very interested in hearing the details of your birth story. Are you going to post one? DH and I are taking a Bradley course starting next month. As much as I would love to deliver at home, it's not an option for us with baby #1. I don't feel quite secure enough with myself and with the whole process. Maybe, hopefully I'll change for #2....Congrats again.

I've been working on it a little and hope to post something next week-ish. There are parts that are really hazy, so DH needs to fill me in on the spots I'm forgetting. He says it's probably best I don't remember some of them though...

Congrats!!! Love your daughter's name. I look forward to your birthing story as well. I'm going for a med-free delivery as well, I don't know if I would be able to last 50hrs though... to you!!!
