Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
I'd pick deer park although I think west babylon is comparable. I think with any of those towns....it depends where you are looking at. I Deer Park - small town feel, neighbors that look out for each other, lots of people who grew up there tend to come back. It's a good working middle class area. Let me know if you have questions - I can try to help.

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
West Babylon they have good schools, then Lindenhurst and last choice Deer Park. Definitely not North Babylon, schools are horrible.

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
West Babylon w/ West Babylon schools.
I live in the numbered area south of southern state and I love my neighborhood.
The houses over here are well kept and everyone is very friendly.
I would definitely stay away from North Babylon, unless it was WB Schools.

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
West Babylon... we live there now and couldn't be happier.
I think Lindenhurst would be our next choice.
I'd pick N.Bab and Deer Park last only because Deer Park Ave, the busiest part, runs right on thru and I don't love that.
Good luck! I think any of these choices would be great though, they're all pretty much in the same area and very centrally located.

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
We are in the process of buying a house in West Babylon. My mom lives there and we both love the area.
I haven't heard good things about North Bablyon schools. I think Deer Park and Lindenhurst aren't bad, but my first pick would definately be West Babylon.

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
For us, it would be for resale value, picking a town that has the better SD, as we are not in a situation right now where we need to send children to school.
I am leaning towards West Babylon I think..

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
Definately WB, better schools. Also, be careful in Lindenhurst, make sure they are not Copaigue Schools. They aren't great.

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
I would pick Lindenhurst as well, because of the village. I think it's the nicest of the four.

Re: Out of these four towns, where would you rather
I grew up on the Prime West side of Deer Park, and I hear the school isnt that great anymore. In todays newsday they rated the schools, imo, I would look at that also.
Imo, I would move back to West Babylon or Babylon Village. Lindenhurst is nice but a lot of it floods and North Babylon is good but you have to watch where you buy.

In Lindenhurst Village if you are south of sunrise you don't have to worry about flooding
