My DH made his own and poured his own concrete countertops. I think it came out really nice for a DIY project Chat Icon

Thank You! The concrete for the countertops was like 5 bucks a bag Chat Icon and we added dye to get the color we wanted. He poured them up in wood molds in our garage. The only thing that cost us was the stone facing. I wanna say the whole thing was around $700 without appliances Chat Icon DH made the frame out of wood and I think did chicken wire over it to attach the stone. It was literally a 2 weekend project for him....

Re: Outdoor Kitchens?? Anyone have one

They sell the whole shebang...bbq, counter, stone veneer...all one piece...in COSTCO!!

They had it last summer...wonder if they'll carry it again.

I believe it was around $1500.

Yes i saw those last year, this is different though, its custom to my deck to fit in a certain spot and its welded with metal framing and secured to the deck as well.
And we get to pick the appliances that we want to put in it, we get to use the same stone thats on our house, and we get to choose the granite and backsplash as well.

Its defin good that costco has other options

really? appliances alone are about $1,500. if this is the case then maybe i will have to look into it but for $1,500 i wouldn't expect much more than plastic walls and countertop, an easy bake oven, and a hole for a garden hose.

eta: just checked the costco site. maybe there are less expensive islands available in-store or the $1,500 was an end of the season clearance price.

cheapest is $3,300

Check out GPM Spas in Farmingdale. Ask for Ray.

I bought my hot tub from them, and when I was there I noticed they sell a ton of different outdoor appliances similar to what you are looking for.

Costco has the outdoor kitchen on display again, but I wouldn't recommend it only because if any of the appliances need repairs, it may be difficult to get replacement parts. (My family learned the hard way.)

We've been looking at putting an outdoor kitchen together and the price can vary greatly based on the appliances you choose to the materials used on the island. Hell, most of the grills start at 3K, so you can expect to spend at least that.

I remember seeing that BBQ set at Costco with DH! He and I were so close to purchasing it for our new home. When we saw it, it was definately an end of the season sale (December). I recall the price tag being closer to $2,000.

They have a smaller similar one this year. Def not as nice as the ones shown here. Great option though.
