Outdoor Runners?
Can anyone recommend a good running sneaker -- especially for outdoors?

all running sneakers are made for outdoor running, uless your talking about off-trail running?
I have Brooks, which I love. I have mild pronation and this helps stabilize my feet when I run. I also have a pair of asics but I feel pain in my feet faster when I wear these.
If you want the best running shoe for you, I would def recommend going to a running store. They will watch you run to see what kind of shoe you need. I like Jack Rabbit the best, I think there is one on LI.

I would go to a running store and have them fit you. I don't know if you have a collapsed arch, high arch, low arch- etc... I go to the Super Runner's Store. There is no great shoe for everyone. With running, it depends on your body and running style.

I actually got my sneakers at Jack Rabbit in the city and they are Asics and I love them!

Thanks Girls. I just started walking/running again and my Nikes are killing me.
I never really thought about going to store to get fitted -- I will definetly try that!

I think you should go to a running store and see what they recommend for your feet. I go to Runners Edge in Farmiingdale.

I wear Mizunos and love them. Heard Aasics are good too, Brookes as well but Mizuonos are so comfy to me!!!
