OVERWHELMED again..CPSE evals..need reccomendations !
It is a long story, but the short end of it is I need to choose an agency for the evals for my twin girls who will be 3 soon.
One DD needs O/T, P/T and speech and she needs the P/T to start asap. She will probably have no issues getting approved ( I hope THAT doesn't come back to bite me in the ass..lol)
With my son I used Marion K Soloman for all his E/I and CPSE evals. We were happy enough except the intital evals took a whiel to coordinate and right now I am kinda in a hurry to get her services started.
So not only do I really want someone GOOD...but quick.
Is somewhere better for o/t , and p/t then anywhere else.
We are in Lindenhurst and I prefer not to use the districts evaluators.
I do not think she will qualify for a program, her needs and speech, pt and ot but she has no social issues etc. And She is a twin , and my other DD only needs speech ( and may not qualify because of that) , and I couldnt possibly seperate them into two different pre schools if in fact DD # 1 got a program .

We are further east in selden but we use Up We Grow and were very pleased.

I think tender age in Oakdale is really good with PT.

Not sure if garden city is too far, but Kidz therapy is great for ot evals!

I just signed up with Kidz Therapy for my son to begin his evals. They called me immediately to set up everything.
I am actually taking him to their center in Hauppauge, however, they offered to come to my home (I think with this though, the wait may be a little longer).
The private child psychologist we took him to initially, said in his professional opinion, they are one of the best, and his first choice on LI.
P.S. I am in Amity Harbor.
