Ovulation After Miscarriage?
Hi Ladies! I'm at the tail end of miscarrying, already passed everything, but still bleeding slightly. The miscarriage was due to a small gestational sac at 8 weeks (measuring 7) and according to my doctor probably a chromosomal issue. This was my second pregnancy, my first was easy and uneventful and my DD is now 3. My husband and I have discussed trying again but I have no idea when to start tracking for ovulation purposes. So I guess my question is how long did it take for you to ovulate after a natural miscarriage?

Ovulation After Miscarriage?
DEFINITELY wait until you get AF before even trying to track O again. Have your beta's reached zero yet? Most doctors say to wait 3 FULL cycles after your beta hits zero. That's what I would recommend also, from personal experience, you need to give your body time to recoup.

Re: Ovulation After Miscarriage?
After I miscarried (at around 5 weeks), I got AF about 60 days later. I'm not really sure but I don't think I ovulated that cycle. My hormones were all over the place, and I had super sore boobs, mood swings, etc. for the entire 2 months until I got AF.
I'm currently on my 2nd cycle since the m/c, and started temping again. I did O, on Day 18, which is waaaaaay early for me. I usually don't O until day 30 or so. But I've heard that the first few cycles after a m/c, a woman is potentially even more fertile. It's up to you whether you think you're emotionally ready to try again so soon. You might be really gung ho to start ASAP, but it can be really emotionally exhausting, esp when your hormones are so out of whack. Good luck and I'm sorry for your loss.

Re: Ovulation After Miscarriage?
I miscarried October 23, 2004, I was 7 weeks 4 days along and naturally miscarried. I got pregnant again November 1, 2004. I ovulated just days after my miscarriage ended. I normally have 38 day cycles so I ovulated way earlier than I assumed I would.
