owens corning basement system

Has anyone put in one of these basement systems. To me it looks like cubicle walls and so expensive but DH seems to like it. Now i live in NJ and the sales manager explained to us that LI has the biggest demand for them. Just wanted to see if anyone on here likes them or has them?

I had actually never heard of this before, and DH mentioned it last night. he said his coworker go it, and is loving it.
How much does this sort of thing run in comparison with regular dry wall?

i think only one company has this system which is Alure on LI and from what I gather to do the a basement with a bedroom, closet and living area is about 35-40K

Thanks. Our first quote was 60k. Then he kept playing with the numbers, if we sigend up to do a showcase i, did this, and that got it down to 35k. But if you signed now you got this and that. All the pressure , just made it feel like the biggest scheme. We passed for now. BUt they want us to come and see someone else's home becasue i told them i didn't like the look i felt like i was at work sitting in my cubicle. (Just my opinion). But let me know what you find out.

We had Alure do our basement about 5 1/2 years ago. We had a full (we have a cape), unfinished basement (it literally had two electrical outlets and bare light bulbs). They did the entire job in less than two weeks. They did the walls, a drop ceiling and all the electrical, among other things. They were very clean and overall, we were very happy with the experience. We didn't want anything too fancy. It is essentially a play room for our kids and a space for my husband to play his trumpet. The cost was about $25K.
