I also remember when they were filming She-Devil. I was in HS, and it was the big news around town. Everyone was talking about whether they saw the celebrities, etc... They blocked off the end part of Cliff Rd by the pink house so people wouldn't interfer. Although the movie is bad, I still watch it to see the parts that were filmed near where I grew up.
