pacifier stuck in baby's mouth??
My 6 mth old had her pacifier caught in her mouth this morning Of course, I wasn't home, she was with our sitter, but the sitter told me she her Sarah crying, then saw she had the outer piece of the binky inside her mouth and it was stuck. She wasn't actually choking on it thank God but still!!
Has this happened to anyone else? My first dd wasn't a binky user so I'm not sure....
I do know the binky she gave her was for newborns...I've since thrown them out, but I checked and the smaller ones aren't even that much smaller than the ones for 6 mth olds
Now I'm worried about her with binkies when she's sleeping.

Yes! My son has a very bad habit of putting the WHOLE binky in his mouth. Sometimes he has a difficult time getting it out.
He started this at around 6 months.

That's scary! Glad DD is okay.
What kind of paci was it? I use Gerber Nuks and the base of those are pretty big.

Re: pacifier stuck in baby's mouth??
OMG!!! My ds just did this the other day. I freaked out!!! He is 7 1/2 months and was never a really binky fan but I gave it to him to chew on while he is teething. After that I threw them all out. It was probably for he better becaue I was trying to take the binky away from my 2 years old DD.
I know how you must have felt. Thank god nobody choked!!!
