Yes, the old "anything to keep the baby hapy while the car is at a standstill" trick. I have done it myself many a time...now, at 16 months we are well into the "giving the small child a small bag of chocolate buttons to keep him happy while at the supermarket" trick.

the only reason I gave him the cookie (Actually teething biscuit) is because he NEVER eats them..he always bangs them against things (tabletops, carseat etc...). WELL today he decided to eat it. I was driving from NJ to VA and stuck in horrendous traffic in DC so it did the trick, lol!
