Packing for your trip.
When you go on a 7 day vacation with DH how many suitcases do you pack?
We are leaving in 2 weeks for DR and we are going through our summer clothes. I'm happy to say everything still fits so now I want to take it all with me. We both over pack everytime.
So I'm just curious if anyone was ever able to take just 1 large suitcase for the 2 of you?

We use 2 bags - DH has big feet & his shoes take up a lot of room then when you add toiletries & such the room in the bag seems to just vanish. But we can usually do 2 medium size bags no problem.

Dh and I went on a 2 week vacay back in july and used one large suitcase....I tend to underpack and wash clothes at our timeshare

We do 1 large suitcase for both of us. I think if we didn't take many shoes, we could have done one, but the shoes (I brought 3 or 4 pairs) took up half the suitcase.

we take 3 suitcases. 1 for him, 1 for me and 1 for our shoes and toiletries.

we went on a 2 week vacation...we each had one big suitcase
when we went to Vegas for a week...we had one big suitcase and a garment bag

We would take one medium-to-large suitcase each. I find the caribbean to be the easiest trip to pack for because we tend to spend the days in swimsuits anyway.

I have one large suitcase (I can't fit my blowdryer and flat iron in a carry-on with my clothes ) and one large tote bag. DH usually has a carry-on suitcase and a messenger bag.
