Paige isnt eating that much lately.
Im worried. I started cereal and only feed her 1 1/2 teaspoons in the morning and at night. She was doing so well eating a 6 ounce bottle and now for a couple of weeks now she isnt eating all that well. Im not feeding her that much cereal that she wouldnt finish a bottle. She gets hungry and she will only eat 3 ounces and then not want it anymore. I try a half hour later and she will eat maybe another 2 ounces.
Could it be teething? She doesnt even finish her morning bottle after not eating for 7 hours. I dont get it.

Re: Paige isnt eating that much lately.
Maybe it is because the weather is so warm. I know that sometimes when it is so warm some of my family members babies will barely eat. I am not sure if this is the case though.

She is 4 months? She is probably teething. DS did the same thing.

Re: Paige isnt eating that much lately.
This has been my ongoing nightmare since I introduced fruits and veggies.
For breakfast I just feed them their cereal and fruit - get them dressed, then do the bottle. If I try and feed it with the fruit and cereal it's like it is too much for them. At dinner time - same thing, but if I wait too long then their last bottle gets delayed.
It's like I'm forcing bottles down lately - they're tossing and turning away and don't want it. Is that what your DD is doing? Maybe it is teething, or they are just not loving the bottle, I'm not sure!

She is 4 months. The doctor already said she was teething. She has been teething for almost a month now.

Re: Paige isnt eating that much lately.
Hannah definitely has decreased her bottle intake since starting solids. There is formula mixed in with the cereal, so that does count as if she drank it.
I think its normal. Continue to offer it and let her decide what she wants. How much is she drinking total per day? If she's not getting enough per day, than I'd talk to your ped.

I try and space it out. I will feed her her bottle first then maybe an hour and a half later i will give them cereal and then another bottle an hour to and hour and half later.

Re: Paige isnt eating that much lately.
Andrew always went through his stages of eating a lot then eating nothing. The ped always told me it was just a phase and they will move passed it soon.

I forgot to say that it will go back to normal... He refused food for about a week then he went back to normal... If his teeth are really bothering him he doesn't eat as much. I can tell by the amount of drool/crying.
