Re: pain question

You could have a cyst or an enlarged ovary. If you saw my other post from Monday, I had several cysts and enlarged ovaries and I was and still am feeling alot of pressure, pain when I pee, bloating, etc.

It's probably fine and will shrink on its own, but if the pain is bad- I would go in and get a sono done.

Re: pain question

I think you and I are around the same in regards to IVF cycles. I'm 11 days post retrieval 5 days post transfer. I had a fair amount of pain after retireval which left by transfer and had no pain after transfer UNTIL YESTERDAY. I had the WORST sharp pain on my right side (right around the ovarian area). I emailed my doc and asked if this could be an ectopic PG (I had one in Jan so I am totally paranoid). Long story short, he said the pain is completely normal and related to the retrieval and the transfer. Could be a cyst from all the left over follies but it would be minor. It would be way too early to be anything related to PG even ectopic.

I feel fine this morning. So my guess is that you are probably dealing with some lingering discomfort from ER and/or ET.

Re: pain question

I agree its probably a cyst which I'vve had before they can be very painful...mine always went away on their own. If you are still in a lot of pain tomorrow I would call the dr
