Re: paint finishes
I love eggshell, that's all I use except in my bathrooms, I use satin in there.

Re: paint finishes
I was just told eggshell is he most common for interior bedrooms. I prefer matte, but it's less practical with kids.

Re: paint finishes
I use something called matte. It's also k own as scrubbable flat. I like the look of flat butif you try to scrub it if it gets dirty, it tends to actually come off in the sponge! Matte or scrubbable flat gives the the same look without that problem

If ur kitchen is an open concept into living room n dining room would u still use semi gloss. Even the ceiling if the rest is flat ceiling paint?

Re: paint finishes
just want to add I was told for bathroom and kitchen areas you want to do some kind of gloss because it will prevent mold, too much moisture getting into the walls.

I would never use semigloss on walls. It will look shiny. Semi gloss for trim only.

This. Way too shiny for walls. I use matte in my kitchen and it's fine. It's washable so no worries if something splatters, etc.

As others have stated, I would never use semi gloss for walls. Either matte or eggshell.

We used eggshell everywhere. In the bathrooms we used Ben Moore's spa and bathroom paint. It's supposed to prevent mold and mildew
