Painting aluminum siding
Has anyone done this or know anyone who has? We are not ready financially to replace our siding but heard that you can paint your siding and that it looks great. Does anyone know the process, and the costs of doing so? If you did it and have pics, please post thanks!

my husband has a friend that is a painter & I know people hire him sometimes to do this. I'm not sure what the steps are but I bet the people at Aboffs or janovick paints could tell you everything & sell you the right products.

My parents siding was fading so alside didn't make the shade anymore so they said they would paint it and it looks great. You would never know it was painted. I am not sure how much it costs because my parents didn't have to pay for it but I know it looks great.

My neighbor had it done (sorry I don't know the cost though) She used Ryan McCaughey Painting 631-912-9041 in East Northport.
Maybe you could call for an estimate

We did it and it turned out GREAT! I can't give you a price because it was part of a much bigger job including windows, kitchen renovation etc.
From what my contractor told me it was fairly easy to do and is much more cost effective.
We are very pleased with how it turned out.
