Painting the molding...
When you paint the trim/molding in your house what color do you use? Is it a standard shade of white? I might be painting our living room a lighter shade of gray on the walls with a dark shade of gray as an accent wall. What color would I use on the molding? Also, we have a fireplace mantel that is separate from the actual fireplace and molding around that... what color would we paint that? Thanks!

Re: Painting the molding...
It depends, like in my den white would not have gone with our color choices it would have stuck out too much and not blend in so we used a biege color cant remember the name , the trim and chair rail in dining room is stained in oak, the crown mouldings again depending on the room, but most are white and door trim is white, I just know to use gloss paint, thats what the pro painter said.
