Painting Vent
We are in the process of trying to buy a new home and sell ours. We needed to have our entire main floor and basement repainted. We used No Voc paint. Painting was done Friday but because of the humid weekend the house smells really bad still. I have been living with my 4.5 year old at my parents house since the painting began and I'm worried to go back home now Anyone have a lot of painting done in their home and can tell me if a few more days will really make a difference. I'm just worrying! Thanks

If you're worried then just wait a few more days!

Re: Painting Vent
I think a few days should make a difference especially if you're being cautious of creating a nice cross-breeze with lots of opened windows and doors when someone is home?

Re: Painting Vent
We moved when I was pregnant. The base is non voc but some of the tints do have vocs. I was actually helping dh once and my throat started hurting so I stopped. It was only a few days with windows open before it stopped stinking. We weren't living there yet though.
I think once its dry its fine but just stinks

Painting Vent
It takes a few days with windows wide open to get rid of the smell. We painted the room this past week and it took like 4-5 days with the door closed and window open for the smell to totally be gone
