Palm Pre Plus
Does anyone have this phone? DH and I are thinking about getting it (it's BOGO right now), and I'd love some feedback. Thanks!

Re: Palm Pre Plus
palm is the bottom of the phone software...
palm is also looking for a new buyer as they banked on the palm pre does some amazing things..they banked on selling a ton a it just never happened.
with that said, the phone is still good and you can get them for like 50 bucks depending on your carrier.
play with it before you buy..

I played with it earlier today, and didn't love the keyboard...the buttons were really small. The interface was good, and I liked the overall look. We also liked that it can be used as a WiFi hotspot for up to 5 devices, and that they are waiving the fee for it. Still not sure what we're going to do though. DH doesn't really like blackberries, and I don't like the look of the Droid or the Devour, even though I liked playing with the Devour. We wanted to do one of the BOGO deals if we can. It can wait a month or two, so I think we're going to take our time deciding.

Re: Palm Pre Plus
I have the Palm Pre.. it's the same as the Plus I think except it's from Sprint and the Plus has the wifi software.
Gotta say-- I don't love it. I have been a Sprint customer since I got my first cell phone, so I got the Pre when it came out last summer.
I like that it has a keyboard over the iPhone, but I think that's the only benefit. There have been a few software updates which have improved the phone, but I wish I just spent the money and switched services and got an iPhone.
The downloaded apps kinda suck, nothing interesting. And the phone gets a little temperamental. I already had to exchange and get a new one as my touchscreen stopped working. Could have been cause DD likes to play with it-- but, a cell phone should be able to withstand some wear and tear.
