Panicking slightly..good news / bad news..
I'm good to go for the IUI tomorrow and Thursday. 2 follies measuring 19mm, one on the right and one on the left. That's the good news.
The bad news is, TOMORROW of all days!!!!!! This is what I was afraid would happen. I have 3 interns starting tomorrow, I am doing their presentation, a tour, lunch etc etc. So I ask if I can do the IUI tomorrow afternoon. No, she said, only between 7 - 11am. Great, smack in the middle of the intern crap....so now I am praying that we can do it in the early AM so I can get to work early...I'm supposed to set up at 8 and do orientation at 8:30....
I don't need this stress!!!!

Re: Panicking slightly..good news / bad news..
Well that is great news Jen, I was just going to FM you about it! So exciting!
I know it's all frustrating with the timing (I take it they do them there too and not just in MTown?) Everything is so scheduled there. Morn. Monitoring 6-7:30 - IUI's 7-11, ER's 9-12, etc.... You said your boss knows of your situation, can you talk to her and just give her the heads up of what's going on? Once they bring you in, it's really quick. They wll just have you lay on the table for 10 minutes and then you can go.
Good luck, I'm soooo friggin excited for you!!!
ETA: did you ever get a chance to talk to the doctor, or your doctors team about changing your nurse? That is going to be your main relationship with them, so you need to be comfortable with her.

Re: Panicking slightly..good news / bad news..
Spoke to my boss - get this - they scheduled me for 8:30 EXACTLY when my presentation begins She said she would rather me go and get it done and come back and join the interns after rather than doing the presentation and stressing about getting to the doctor on time..this is my life though
Michelle - DH can bring his sample with him right? He doesn't have to do it there?
Oh BTW I was in M-town office this weekend...I like Somerset better

yes, he can bring the sample with him, he doesn't have to do it there if he doesn't want to. Just make sure you have a sterile container.
I hate Mtown on the weekends, it's always a zoo, which is why if I have to go on the weekend, I make sure I'm there right at 6:00am. I went there this morning for bloodwork too instead of West Orange, but the wait wasn't that bad this morning.
Good luck!!!!
