Panorama test
So I changed midwives and met with the new one today. Initially, I wasn't going to do any of the blood test type screening because insurance doesn't cover it. However, the new midwife said that she has a deal with the lab where they don't charge you more than $250 maximum for test if your insurance doesn't cover it, so I figured I'd go ahead with it. Anyways, I was wondering how long it took for you to get results. Thanks !

Panorama test
I got my results in about a week. It was great peace of mind because I got the results before our NT scan and knew everything was fine with the baby.

Panorama test
My office just gave me an appt for the same test. I called my insurance to see if it is covered and they couldn't even find the coding for the test and neither could my ob's office. Was it covered for any of you?

My doctor's office had told me if it wasn't covered that I wouldn't have to pay for it; that to give them the bill and they would take care of it. I had it 28 weeks ago and have not received a bill.

Panorama test
Thanks. They told me that if it wasn't covered they would work with me but I called my insurance and they do cover BUT I would have to meet certain criteria which i don't. If I was 35 I would automatically be covered they said but since I'm not and don't meet the other criteria It's not covered.

My midwife told me she has a deal with the lab where the most you pay if insurance doesn't cover it is $250. She says she has done this with many clients.
