Parenting is hard enough but....
I will say, with all our threads, experience.... I really feel sad for all of us.
Not only do we have to deal with the "regular" parenting but we have to FIGHT with schools, making cases for our DC to justify services. The stares and questions from strangers, being judged.
I feel it's a never ended stress.
 To all of you!!!!! People really DON'T get it. To their defence, how could they? There is no way to understand what it means to have a child with SN unless you have one.
I am so glad we have this board to share our positives and negatives.

I know I'm not exactly in the same boat as you guys, but ITA.
I get so mad when parents, who have to deal with the day to day struggles of their child's disability, which is hard enough, but when they have to stress about school placement, fight for approipriate services, even pursue legally what their kids should be given, it is just unfair. It infuriates me.
I also get mad when teachers complain about parents who advocate. I tell them, if it were my kid, I KNOW I would be "That" parent too.

So glad you posted this! I was just recently thinking this same thing.
The stress can be very overwhelming at times! Having this board has been such a blessing, where we can share support, ideas, difficulties, information, cheers and helping us all feel like we are not alone.

There are times I feel like I cant live without this board. I have learned so much from reading other people's stories and when I feel like I'm the only ones who feels a certain way there are posts saying "I understand."
Thank you to everyone on this board for getting me through the bad days

i agree with everyone above.
And also wanted to acknowledge that I especially love reading about the success, progress and perseverence of our amazing children who work quadruply hard to accomplish the amazing things they do.
It is extremely empowering and always gives me so much hope!
