Parenting question from 5 day old mom
Of course I love having family and friends meeting my little girl. But, I get so nervous of them holding her. My grandma was holding her and let her head go forward quickly. Should I be worried? Would I know from her reaction if there was a problem. Gosh, I can't wait till they can hold their head up more.

Re: Parenting question from 5 day old mom
I am a super laid back mom, so my opinion is yes, let other people hold her. Of course, if its making you uncomfortable don't do it, but I think other people want to hold a new baby, especially if they are family. Just remind them gently how to hold the baby, that might work!!
Relax, they are very hardy little creatures.

Re: Parenting question from 5 day old mom
I undersand how you feel. I am the opposite of the reader above a very uptight mommy. I would just help them to hold DC the way you want. I was so crazy with the hand washing everyone thought I was crazy but you know, the way i look at it is that you only get one chance with this little person and you promised to be the BEST parent you can be so dont worry there will be ALOT of things down the road that you will get upset about but hey thats life right? Hang in there Congrats
