Parents living with you
Does anyone have an apt in their house with their parents or IL's living with them? How is it?

I do, I have a High Ranch with an above ground apartment for my MIL. I like the arrangement, and she is a big help around the house.
I would just make sure you set up ground rules, and that if it is your parents you deal with them. If it is your DH's parents you let him deal with them. And above all make sure you are both on the same page.

We do. Right now we are living in a 3 bedroom apartment upstairs and they have the main floor with one bedroom . ( It's a converted center hall colonial. ) .. The situation, it's ok... Since we are upstairs they hear everything, including our fights and the kids running all over. But all in all it's not so bad. I just keep looking to the future when they spend most of thier time in Greece and buy the house............... One day......................
