Parents of two or more
Just curious, where do you put your carseats? Right now I have only one, so it is in the middle. What is the safest when you have two?

I think if your back seat is bigger enough the youngest one goes in the middle, and then you put the other child on either side. We have a minivan so when my DD was born we put her in the middle and my one year old DS to the right of her.

I think it depends on the age of DC, and their mobility and ability. When we had DD, we put her in her car carrier behind the driver. That way, we could get her out very quickly and out of traffic, then go to the passenger side, put her down, and deal with DS.
Now that he's older, we probably should switch them, since he can unbuckle himself and climb out on DD's side of the car, so if we switched them, they could both get out on the side away from traffic.
