Parents that have travelled with their kids
Did you ever use a babysitter while on vacation? Would you?
TIA

Re: Parents that have travelled with their kids
I never have. Maybe I would one day. I but I don't think so.
Unless it was someplace where they had a daycare, like on a cruise or something.

I agree. Tania I wouldn't leave your DD with a babysitter in a foreign country. Too many risks and unknowns. Also your DD won't understand the language and it might confuse her. On a cruise with a daycare facility would be a little different though.

Re: Parents that have travelled with their kids
I probably would if it was in the USA and only if the kids can give me feedback on their experience there. Otherwise, I wouldn't.

Re: Parents that have travelled with their kids
Some hotels have what they call a baby listening service, so you and your partner can eat in the hotel restaurant and then if they baby makes noise or wakes up, they let you know. This way you aren't far from the baby and you can enjoy your evening!
My boss uses this all the time when she travels. But I don't think I would use a hotel babysitter. We used a hotel laundry once and they charged us over $100 to wash our underwear...so god knows what they would do to our child!!!
