Paris/London....quick trip, need help!
Ok so here's the deal, DH has to go to London for work for a week. We want to leave here on Wed and fly overnight to Paris. We would then have 4 full days before he has to be in London for work Monday morning. What would you do, two days in Paris, two in London? Three in Paris, one in London? Or would you stay in Paris all four days and then let DH go over to London himself? The dilema here is that I could take DS with us and stay in Paris until Sunday then head to London for the week but that means I would have to be out sightseeing by myself all day with just DS while DH is working or I can leave DS home with the IL's but only Wed night thru Monday. What would you do with this??

That's a really hard decision, I absolutley love both cities! Although, I do favor London a little more than Paris. If you only have the 4 days, then I'd split them.

Yes that is tough. I suppose I would do two and two. Is there any way you can stay 4 in Paris and then extend your stay in London?

I could totally do this but I don't want to leave DS home that long so I would then have to bring him with us. I don't mind bringing him I just thought it would be nice to go just DH and I

I personally, would not want to bring my kids with me over there, if at all possible. How old is your DS? DH and I have been to both cities last year, and lugging around my son would have been a PITA.
Both cities are fun, and equally have things to do. I liked them both equally. I say do whatever allows you to go sans DS.
Have fun!!!

London is amazingly child friendly, there are green spaces everywhere, and if the weather is nice, you can pick one area, sightsee with the baby and spend an hour in park, you get a coffee, he runs around. Bingo. A lovely way to spend your day. The West End of London is always going to be busy, but I was in London last Spring and tons of tourists had kids in pushchairs. I would say spend some time in London on your own. Its doable, totally.

I would go to paris with DH & DS and sight see.
I would then go to London and explore London with DS while DH works. There are beautiful huge parks ... lots of walking and things to see while walking ... The tube is easy to navigate if needed but if you stay in a central area, you can walk to almost anywhere ... one day go east from the hotel , one day west, another day south .... it's a beautiful city. You could buy food and picnic in the park, eat at an outdoor cafe, take DS onto the London Eye (I believe they allow strollers), walk the museums, walk through harrods).

I would take DS and do as Elbee suggested. There is so much to do in London, and there are really beautiful parks. We took DD there last year, and to Ireland just last month, and she did fine in both places. The tube is great, and there are really a lot of kid friendly places to go. We love London.
