{{Sigh}} Not really. I'm not a resident, but the Hickville station is the closest to my house.

Is there non-resident parking anywhere?

There is non resident parking but you will pay. DO NOT park in the garage if you don't have a pass. You will get a ticket. And the garage is full by 8AM..usually.

I'm pretty sure there is parking for the train over by Target (the part of the parking lot that is across the "road" from Target). It is a bit of a walk, but I don't think you have to pay and I think it is designated as train parking so it won't matter how long you are there

DO NOT park near Target or in that entire mall's lot. They watch for this, and cars get towed. If you have a need to park daily, you can look into one of the lots that charge by the month. I'm not sure what the rates are, but there are a few right off of Newbridge Rd. on the east side just south of the station. Phone numbers to contact are posted on signs.
The "designated parking" the previous poster noted was only during the time that the town garage was undergoing rebuilding.

I sympathize bc DH pays $9 per day at another station...
If you are in TOH, your best bet is probably the Babylon line.
You could also look at Westbury - it's been a long time, but I used to park in a daily non-resident lot there (resident was village of westbury) for about half of the cost at Hicksville and the parking was right next to the station.

ETA - also going back a long time, but the 2 Hicksville non-resident pay lots I've used were south of the station along Newbridge.

I feel so bad for the people who have to park there -- I pass by each morning on my way to work and it's always a zoo!!! Chat Icon

Are there really stations you can park at ONLY if you're a resident? If so, I'd like to know which ones because I will sell my house and move there.

My station is a free for all and there are no spots left by 7am.
