Parking near Hicksville LIRR station
I'm Town of Hempstead but am 6 minutes from the Hicksville station. I know I can't park in the garage but I thought I saw a sign that you could park for $9.00 a day right near the train. Does anyone do that? How do you pay? TIA.

Parking near Hicksville LIRR station
There is a public lot across from the parking garage. All you do is pull in and there's a guy there that collects the money. He can give you a receipt if you need one. I've parked there several times and had no issues.

There's the $9 lot, across the street is a $7 lot, if you commute, you can talk to the guy at the $7 lot about monthly parking which is $110 a month, it's for a smaller lot, across the street from the $7 lot, lol if that made any sense!!

Parking near Hicksville LIRR station
i once parked in the hicksville mall parking lot and walked over to the train station. it was not as short a walk as i thought it would be (it would've been fine if i weren't wearing heels that day), but it was free
