Parking @ Massapequa Park LIRR

DH and I just moved to Farmingdale, which is in the Town of Oyster Bay. DH commutes to NYC via LIRR. We live equi-distant to the Farmingdale and Massapequa Park LIRR stations, but DH prefers Massapequa Park because its on the Babylon line. What kind of a permit do we need for him to park at Massapequa Park? The town website is confusing!

Can someone clarify this for me?

I think you need to be a MP resident to get in to that lot. I'd suggest just going 2 minutes (literally) down the road to the Massapequa station. They have a sticker lot and & non- sticker lot (non sticker is the very east end back lot near the baseball field.) Depending on how early he takes the train, he can get in to the non-sticker lot. I used to take the 643 and never had a problem getting a space in that lot. Both towns are TOB.

Seaford (another 2 minutes down the road) also has a non sticker lot all the way to the west on Sunrise Highway that he could park in as well.

i commute from the farmingdale station and there are great express trains from there.

My am train starts at Farmingdale and only stops at Bethpage and Hicksville...no jamaica.

On the way home my train is Bethpage farmingdale.
Train station isn't crowded. I used to live on the Babylon line and thought I woudl hate the options for farmingdale...I actually really like it.

When we lived in F'dale DH had the same commute and we were the same distance to both also. He ended up going to Massapequa. You need to be a resident of MP since it is an incorporated village. It is one traffic light past MP. Farmingdale I don't really care for. I think the parking lot is too small. My mother does the same commute but lives in F'dale boarding Bethpage and I am almost positive she parks at Bethpage.

Go to the town office on 107 in Massapequa, right across from Carvel. He can get a sticker there to park in Massapequa lot.
