Party room for rent?
Hi! I am in search of a party room for about 40-45 people in the Nassau South Shore area. Looking for a place that is clean and looks nice and updated (been to some vfw type halls that looked old and musty). Just looking to rent the room, I will bring my own food and (preferably) drink. Hoping for a reasonably priced place ($200 range as it is just for the use of the room).
Needs to be open to non-members. Does such a place exist? I have never rented a party room that wasn't catered at a restaurant before so don't know how this works or what to expect.
Thanks!!!
Eta: called around a few firehouses and vfw places and they want something like $600+ which is outrageously out of our budget. Thought I'd ask here to see if anyone knows a place.

Party room for rent?
I just went through the same thing you're going through. We were looking for a room for my son's birthday and we couldn't believe how expensive it is! The cheapest price we found was $600 for a 4 hour rental.
We had my son's christening at the KOC in Oceanside which was very reasonable but more on the formal side.

Yes! It's so frustrating. The LOWEST we've been quoted has been $600. Vamps wanted something in the $1100 range just to use the room and maybe bar. It is insane. I just want to use the room and tables and chairs. I will bring my own everything (food, drink, decor, etc.) Unfortunately, I do not have the room in my house to fit many people and I don't have the budget to be dishing out $600-$1000+ JUST to use a room and then have to hire caterers or make my own food on top of that. For that amount I'll just go to a restaurant which was what I was trying to avoid in the first place by renting a room lol. Sorry for the rant. Just so frustrated by the whole thing. On top of that, so many of these places are so gross, smelly, and falling apart and they have the gall to charge so much.
ETA: thanks for the recommendation. I will look into them.

Party room for rent?
I had a party at West Hempstead Lake State Park, it was $350 for 4 hours and the kids got the use the carousel unlimited times. There is a large fridge for drinks and food, an outdoor for seating or space for kids to run and the tables and chairs are very nice inside. It is a Beautiful space! Only downside guests have to pay to park but it is a mandatory State fee...check out some parks ! Good Luck!

Party room for rent?
We're trying to do my son's baptism and honestly everything seems so expensive. We've finally conceded to rent tables and chairs and have it in the backyard

I've found the same for DD's baptism. Our guest list is a little large for an in-home party, but the cheapest I've seen it $600 just for the space for 4 hours. An additional $100 for every extra hour.
Add in catering and drinks and it would cost as much as the local bar/restaurant we also looked at. Good luck! If you find anything good, let us know!

Not sure if Long Beach is too far but the KOC in the West End is brand new and there is a bar. I had my daughter's communion there. We had just under 45 people. It seats up to 60 if I remember correctly.
