Passport Name Change
It's been 4 years I'm married and my passport still has my maiden name.
I would like to plan a trip to the Bahamas in June.
Does anyone know how long it takes to have the name change and where do I go to do this?

I just sent mine away. I think they said 6-8 weeks, so you may want to pay for expedited.
ETA: I mailed in the name change form along with my old passport and marriage license.

Can't you just bring a copy of your marriage license with the old passport, if you wanted to? I was told this is ok to do...

that's what i did when i went dec. 06, and was fine, but i was told they have gotten much more strict since 1/07 and cannot do that again.
