past deliverys or future deliverys at st catherines...
I am getting annoyed bc they are telling me that they dont schedule hospital tours. Its just if they are not busy and i happen to be there. Everytime I show up...its not a good time. Is it important to get a tour? If so how am I going to get one at this rate?

We were told to do our tour on a Sunday night and that is what we did and we had no problems. But honestly didn't make a huge deal I had been there when my friends had babies and I saw pictures from my lamaze class.

Hey Paulette - I am getting a tour when I take the Pre-Natal class in the beginning of November. A friend of mine works there and she might give us a personal tour besides the class. If she can, I will see if I can get you in with us when we go.

Re: past deliverys or future deliverys at st catherines...
I had called St. Catherine's to get a list of recommended lamaze instructors. When they gave me the list, I asked if they all do the hospital tour - the woman on the phone told me that they do a tour every night (I can't remember if it is 7 or 7:30) BUT she said to call before we came to make sure that they would be doing the tour that night - apparently if they have emergencies or are very busy they don't give it. Just call the hospital and ask for the labor and delivery unit and they should be able to help you out.
We ended up taking lamaze there, so the tour was part of the class (which was given by one of the L&D nurses). I found the tour really helpful.
FM if you have any questions - I pre-registered there this morning, and will be delivering there within the next few weeks...

Honestly, Paulette, I delivered there and never had a tour. It's a lot less important than you'd think.

I delivered there too - and agree - You don't really need the tour.
